Join us for our annual Friends Mixer, tailgate-style! Enjoy cold brews from Real Ale Brewery, tasty bites from Sibby Barrett, and great company! Friends of the Library members help bring favorite programs to life, from Dinner and a Movie to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. And all membership fees go towards expanding our book collection! Come and mingle, then renew or join the Friends, and help keep our library thriving.
Land + Wildlife Art Exhibit
November 14th @ 2 PM
Art Exhibit will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at the Blanco Library in the Large Conference Room. Stop by to explore artwork celebrating nature and conservation, meet local artists, and learn about Blanco County’s LAND + WILDLIFE efforts. Enjoy an evening reception at 6 p.m., winner announcements at 7 p.m., and the silent auction closing at 8 p.m. Free and open to all. Come be inspired by creativity that supports our local environment!
Chunky Scarf Class
November 15th @ 1 PM
Chunky Scarf Class will be held at 1 p.m. at the Blanco Library. Learn how to hand crochet a cozy scarf in this fun, one-time, beginner-friendly class.
One-time $20 supplies fee includes yarn and instruction. 10 spots available.

Free Shred Day
November 22nd @ 9 AM
Mark your calendars for November 22nd, 9 AM to 11 AM, for another FREE SHRED DAY! Get rid of all your old paperwork in the East Meadow Lot at the Blanco Library. Please remember to remove all binder clips, spirals, and 3-ring notebooks. Paperclips and staples are OK.
Reading With a Ranger
December 4th @ 10 AM
Join us on Thursday, December 4th at 10:30 AM in the Large Conference Room for a morning filled with outdoorsy stories and crafts. Ranger Katy always brings the wonders of nature to life with her wild and wonderful tales, inspiring young explorers to see the world around them in new ways. Bring the kiddos, spark their curiosity, and enjoy a storytime that celebrates the beauty of the great outdoors!

Weekly Storytime
Storytime is an early literacy program primarily for children from birth to preschool age (0-5 yrs) to encourage them to develop habits that foster a lifetime of reading and learning.
