Reading Between the Wines

Wednesday, March 11th at 5:30 PM

Texas crime, dark humor, and familiar characters… oh my! Reading Between the Wines returns with award-winning author Ben Rehder, well known around these parts for his hilarious Blanco County murder mystery series. Buck Fever was a finalist for the Edgar Award for Best First Novel, Get Busy Dying earned a Shamus Award nomination, and his standalone novel The Chicken Hanger won the Texas Philosophical Society’s Award of Merit, proving this master of country-murder-comedy can also deliver real grit and depth.

La Vie Estate Winery will provide the wine pairing for the event, because nothing pairs with murder, mayhem, and poor life choices like a well-poured glass of Texas wine.
